Creating a meeting from scratch can be time consuming. Especially if you use the same meeting format every time.
That is why we created Templates! Think of Templates as an easy way to create your ideal meeting so you don’t start from scratch every time:
Anytime you use a template, all of your meeting information will pre-populate.
Building one is easy! To create your own template, you’ll use a wizard that looks and feels like a regular meeting inquiry. You can reuse the same Template as many times as you want.
All the details and information from your saved Template will populate into your next meeting.
Types of Templates
My Templates - These are templates that you created. Only you can see and use them.
Company Templates- These are templates shared with you by your team. Anybody within your company can see and use these templates.
Recommended Templates - Bizly suggested templates for all of your template needs.
Template Privacy
Any Template you create can only be viewed by you. If you are an admin and would like to share your template with your team, simply click “Publish to Team” when you are done creating your template.
Template Wizard Features
You can enter in as many details or as few details as you want! Make your template super specific (Boston Private Dining) or general (hotels with meeting space).
Below are some features you can save to be utilized in your next meeting and tips and tricks to utilize along the way.
Basic Details
Cost Center: What department should be billed for this meeting?
Internal Reference: This is specific to your team! How will you reference this meeting?
Budget: How much did you budget for this meeting?
Meeting Type: Is this an internal or external event?
Tags: Selecting a tag will help you distinguish what kind of Template you are creating!
Search
Where do you usually host your meeting?
You can enter in a specific location or a city. When you go to create a meeting, your Template location will inform which venues are served up to you. Entering in a location is completely optional!
You can save:
A specific venue type and style
You can search only company preferred venues*
Specific venue brands! Does your team only like to host meetings at a specific hotel brand?
*Preferred venues are decided by your company administrators
Inquiry
Here is where you preset the details that would eventually go out to the venue.
How many guests usually attend? What type of setup is preferred? Do they need overnight accommodations? You can be as detailed as you want!
Communication
The Bizly Template Wizard allows you to save your favorite invites, notes and attendee surveys to save time.
You can create an invite in the Bizly Template Wizard with saved questions to ask your attendees.
