Why did venue turn down the inquiry?

To find out the reason for why a venue turned down an inquiry, here's how.

When a venue has to turn down an inquiry, a reason has to be provided by the venue in the required field. Perhaps they do not have any meeting space available or no guest rooms at that time.

This helps users understand why an event or meeting could not be accommodated.

1. From the Bizly homescreen, select the event in question.

2. From Events dashboard, navigate to Proposals under Venues.

3. Once in Proposals, by default the Active tab will show.

4. For inquiry turndowns, toggle over to Inactive tab.

5. For every venue inquiry that was turned down, click on View Inquiry.

6. Each will show a reason for why venue inquiry was turned down.


Additionally, when a venue turns down an inquiry, the Bizly platform automatically sends out an email notification to the client or user. The email also includes the reason for the turndown.
