Searching for venues can sometimes be confounding due to the overwhelming abundance of choices, or the paradox of choice. The Bizly platform allows the user to narrow down the search through a filtering system based on the user's criteria. You can filter by restaurants, by hotels, by special venues & etc.
From the Bizly homescreen, navigate to Events.
In the Events control panel, locate and open your meeting.
If you have not yet drawn a shortlist of venues, the system will auto-prompt you with a venue search box.
In the Venues search box, specify the location of your event.
A myriad of search results will be generated for you to choose.
Take some time to scroll through the search results.
Note that the venues preferred by your company will show up on top of the results generated by the search.
If the filter is already on, reset this by clicking on the funnel icon.
Depending on the nature of the event, filter by Venue Type and / or Distance Range.
To further refine your search, use More Filters.
Once narrowed down, you can go ahead and select the venues of your choice.
To select venue, just Add to Short List. You can also click on the venue tile to know more about the property before adding it to your shortlist. There is also an option to delete the added venue.
Please note that the system allows only 4 active venues to be shortlisted at a time, as this works like a revolving door.
