How to create a new event?

A quick guide for new users on the Bizly platform: (1) Create Event, (2) Explore Venues, (3) Finishing Touches

Create Event

Creating a new event or meeting has never been easier, thanks to the Bizly platform. Just follow the simple steps as illustrated below and you should be all set in no time at all!

  • From the Bizly homescreen, click on +New Event button in blue.

  • When prompted by a dialogue box, enter the name and description of your intended event. The description field is AI-powered. This means the more details you provide in this field, the more information will be picked up and auto-populated by AI in the subsequent pages. Alternatively, you also have the option of filling out those details later on.

  • Provide the location of your event. The system will auto-generate drill-down options.

  • Specify whether you need hotel rooms and/or meeting spaces or private dining space.

  • Indicate the time and date of the intended event.

  • Include the guest count or number of attendees.

  • Quantify your budget if based on (a) grand total or (b) per person. Note that this information is not visible or readily available to the venues, not unless disclosed by the user directly to the venue after proposals have been submitted.

  • For the section on additional information, please reach out to your company Meetings & Events admin for assistance. Details on cost center, meeting ID number, department and meeting type are usually company-specific.

  • Click on the Create Event button in blue.


Now, you are ready to build out the rest of your event! You can either search through venues and add them OR put the finishing touches to your event details.


Explore Venues

Here's how to search through the venues and add them to your event. Note that only 4 venues can be added at any one time. The venues section acts like a revolving door β€” every time a venue is cancelled, or a venue proposal is rejected, it frees up the slot for another venue to be added. Finishing Touches

After selecting your venues, time to put the finishing touches on your event details in order to submit your inquiries to the venues. Note that since the Bizly platform is AI-powered, the more details you submitted right from the beginning when creating the event, the more this section will be auto-populated with granular details. Conversely, if the details submitted in the event creation are lacking, the platform will require those details to be filled in before submission. As Bizly is AI-powered, it allows nothing to fall through the cracks.

After you Submit Inquiries, the Bizly Concierge team will take it from there. Multiple follow-ups with the venues through phone calls and emails will be conducted every day until all venues have submitted their proposals. The client will be notified of any updates.
