How to Filter Your Events

As your event list grows, using filters is the most effective way to narrow down your view and locate specific meetings quickly. You can refine your list using criteria such as Event Type, Status, Start Date, Owner, or Collaborator.

Steps to Filter Your Events

  1. Navigate to Events: From your Homepage, click on the Events tab in the left-hand navigation panel.

  2. Select a Category: Choose one of the sub-tabs under the Your Events section:

    • Upcoming: Meetings scheduled for the future.

    • Created by You: Meetings where you are the primary owner.

    • All: Every meeting you have access to (including those where you are a collaborator).

  3. Open Filter Options: Click the Filters button located on the right-hand side of the screen.

  4. Refine Your List: Check the boxes for the specific criteria you are looking for (e.g., Status: "Approved" or Owner: "Steve"). Your list will update automatically.

Clearing or Changing Filters

If you need to start over or change your criteria, simply click the Reset button located in the top-right corner of the filter panel to return to the default view.

💡 Pro Tips for Organizing

  • Filter by Status: This is the fastest way to see which of your events are still "Pending Approval" vs. those that are "Confirmed."

  • Collaborator View: If you are helping a teammate, use the Collaborator filter to see only the events where you’ve been added as a guest or co-planner.

  • Date Range: Use the Start Date filter to plan your travel or budget cycles for specific months or quarters.
