How to Request a Proposal Extension

If you are interested in a venue but the decision date (expiration date) has passed, you can request an extension directly within Bizly to keep the proposal active.

Steps to Request an Extension

  1. Locate the Venue: Go to your Meeting Overview page and find the venue list.

  2. Check Status: Look for the venue marked with the Proposal Expired status.

  3. View Details: Click the View Details button on that venue's tile.

  4. Find the Extension Button: In the window that opens, ensure you are on the Proposal tab. On the right-hand side, click the green Request Extension button.

  5. Request Extension button: Clicking this sends an immediate notification to the Sales Manager at the venue, letting them know you are still interested in their proposal.

What Happens Next?

  • Approval: If the venue grants the extension, you will receive an email notification, and the proposal will be reactivated in your dashboard.

  • Follow-up: If you do not receive a response within 24 hours, please reach out to our Concierge Team. We can contact the venue on your behalf to help expedite the update!

  • Monitor Your Deadlines: To secure your preferred dates and rates, try to keep track of expiration dates as proposals arrive.

  • No Guarantees: Please keep in mind that requesting an extension does not guarantee one will be granted, as venues often have other inquiries for the same space.

Communication: If you have been speaking with the venue representative, it is always helpful to let them know you’ve submitted an extension request through the platform.
